It’s time for your 5k race! What do you have to do before and after running? Click play on the video below to find out:

You need to warm up before and after running. Beginners should walk from five to ten minutes while experienced  runners can jog for 20 minutes to warm up muscles. Once you have finished the race, walk briskly or jog around 10 minutes to enhance healing or prevent soreness.

Recovery is essential after the race. Do not stop abruptly or lie down. Replenish your body with fluids and be sure to stretch after running.
